Software practice: Magazine cover

Today I will create the main page of my magazine and for this I used the VISME platform

I had a idea of a combination with my main project — an interview about the "Experience of Ukrainian students in England"

My idea was to convey the main idea of the article through the title and the talking picture.

I wanted to choose a title for my magazine and the article as a whole that was not banal. So I chose the phrase "Where are you from?"
I decided to deliberately remove the "are" part to make it sound simpler and more natural in the reader's mind, as if it were a phrase taken out of context

This phrase, in my opinion, is a strong trigger in the minds of most immigrants and especially those who came from Ukraine. I think it conveys the idea of the article briefly and clearly.

Next, I chose the main background, the Motherland monument, which is located in the center of the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. This monument is one of the main symbols of my country and is quite recognizable in the world.

The next step was to play with fonts for a long time and settled on these:
"Archivo Black" for the headline
"Dolce Vita" for the subheading
"Anek Malayalam" for the additional description

And here is the overall result I got:
