Self-Study: Chapbook first pages and design
Today I will show my first page and ideas in writing my chapbook. I did start to write it on Google.dox and as It is not a full writing I will add some of screenshot of my captions.
In one of my previous post I explained the idea of my book, but here I would like to express it more deeply and show first steps of my book. My book is story based on the ancient Slavic myths about the soul of nature Mavka. There is story about her soul, porpoise and desire to get know more about world of people. Ones she meet a men and begin to observe him, than they begin to talk and get to know each other, and as a result, Mavka is initially interested in this meeting, but then she becomes afraid of the way of life in the other world.
The branches have an important symbolism to the main character of my book and her nature, so I chose them to decorate this page. Next I choose the same front as from the cover page for all main elements of the text. Now I add the Introduction and cope the text from my Google.dox file:
For the general text, I chose a little different font, because it is easier for the reader to understand and easier to read in general. Then I spend some time to choose elements for rest of my pages in the book witch are characterise the Mavka and event from the plot:
So I have a write Introduction to my book and some main point of the Chapter:
Now I have a plan to create a page with Introduction and some of next pages for Content. Now I am going to my Canva, where I created the Cover:
Next page is will be Introduction and I plan to do that with the same dark green colour and gold elements:

In my next self-study post I show creation of the content page, others pages and rest design of the book.
