Website Research: Previiew & Aude Guerrucci

I will create my website about journalism and my own research in media related to photojournalism as well. For this, I am inspired by two websites of Previiew platform and photojournalist Aude Guerrucci 

Firstly, I will tell about Previiew platform. Previiew is an innovative and exclusive international artist and editorial platform for the most talented photographers and stylists worldwide to showcase their finest seven photographs and profiles.

I like the simplicity and clarity of the site, without extra information and distractions. This site is easy to navigate and notice the main thing. This is clearly visible both in the presentation of information and in the design



From above, we see the main menu and main colors scheme of black and white, which is interrupted only by bright works of magazine covers and photos ( the main product of the web site)




In the "About" tab we can see the main idea of ​​the platform in the style of black and white minimalism



Social networks are connected only to Instagram. The number of followers on the page is almost 2 300


Then I checked out the web site from a mobile phone and the visuals look attractive to me. All pages looked the same as when viewed on a computer.




In general conclusion, I want to take from this platform the same approach of presenting clear and clear information, simple design and general pleasant atmosphere 

The second website I want to review is photojournalist Aude Guerrucci. The site immediately opens with fairly well-known political figures, musicians, athletes and bright photo works of photo works. This give us information about the author's high professional level and considerable experience in this profession.


The main menu opens information about photo works, video works, private gallery and contact information. I would like to emphasize the minimalist approach and simple presentation, which is convenient for the audience of the 21st century


I like the format of posting photos by subject and from the design side





The photo can be expanded and viewed in a convenient scale


We can also easily notice the link to the author's Instagram. There are almost one and a half thousand subscribers and even more photos and videos of works



The last thing I see is part of the biography and the author's contact information via mail


In conclusion, I'm mostly happy with both sites and will use some of their approaches to presentation and design on my own site. 

However, for example, the contact information on the second site seemed to me not very visible and convenient. I also think that a little more information about the author could have been added on the second website, because there is a slight feeling that something is missing for the full picture. 

So, I plan to avoid these mistakes on my own site

Masayoshi Sukita is a Japanese master photographer best known for his 40+ year collaboration with David Bowie (born 1938) Sukita-san with Iggy Pop and David Bowie in 1977 Over the years, between press conferences and photo shoots, Sukita and Bowie explored the cities, relaxed with friends, and attended Iggy Pop’s birthday party.  The two continue to work together.  In April 1977 Sukita took the iconic cover shoot for Bowie’s “Heroes” album. Chapbook research: Analysing literary techniques for a Chapbook project

In this post I would like to describe some  literary techniques which I want to use in my book "The soul with green eyes". Additionally, for good understanding of the techniques, I would like to show examples of other writers.
