Reflective on the Photography & Chapbook projects

Image
Photography project  First of all, I am glad that I did change my final idea and re-make shooting. I can see that I had some mistakes with lighting and ISO, so some of my works was a bit blurred and not so clear as I expected. There is was a good idea to analyse other photographers works and made a research about work of lighting, emotions and angels of shooting witch in a result gives me more deeply understanding of what I would like to see in my own work and what the details and technical aspects I should do. On my opinion, I could do more deeply analyse of research and ideas before shooting, there is what I would like to do next time with my ideas, because now I realise how significant it is. But I had a lot of examples of street style photography from the profesionaplist photographers, which gives to me more ideas and point of view to the people and way in which I can show them. Thus, I still should to know and learn more about lighting and technical works with camera for better r

In this post I would like to describe some  literary techniques which I want to use in my book "The soul with green eyes". Additionally, for good understanding of the techniques, I would like to show examples of other writers. Illustration by Emily Temple Firs of all, there is important that my story is based on the old culture legends and there is about quite  mystic world. So, have a sense to focus on the some way of ideas. Symbolism  Usually, what the symbol looks like is a key to helping us understand the idea that it symbolises.  It allows the reader to see concepts and ideas in interesting descriptions or words that should fire the reader's imagination.  For example in books of Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, author use lot's of symbols, such as:   "Harry's scar is symbolic of his bravery and survival. However, it also symbolizes his connection to Lord Voldemort and how he must continuously choose the good, brave path.  Albus Dumbledore’s name is a symbo

Today I will show you the design of story plot pages of my book " the soul with green eyes". In this post I will show how I write some parts of my Chapbook. Currently, I finish Introduction and begin to write details about Chapters.  Mavka Poster Designed by AliceBlakeArt So, there is how my writing looks for now. There is not a final option of the text, overall there is main points which can be changed or re-writed in process. Firstly, as my book based on the legend about Mavka from old cultural traditions I am going to research some detail about that character, her view, her clothes and other factors.  "In most of the cases mavka is represented as a long-haired girl in blinding white shirt, but our mavka looks more in Slavic fantasy design to make it more attractable for players. The feature of this creature is an absence of skin on their backs, resulting in all entrails are in the plain view. This is a reason why mavkas often called “with-no-back” (Gods, 2021) Of course, as it is more my story plot, I can make changes to main characters and her motives of life. In my s

Chapbook research: The Fairy Stories of Oscar Wilde

One of main book witch inspired me is " The Fairy Stories of Oscar Wilde" of famous author. One of famous story in this book is The Happy Prince, the classic fairy tale with rich language, deep world of imagery and interesting themes. Wilde's writing style is characterised as elegance and emotional deep. Author created a beautiful story, with help of language and describing details. Thought created descriptions, Wilde transfers readers to atmospheric city with busy streets. Another aspect of Oscar Wiled story is impressed combination of world reality with world of fantasy. I really love how author express love, comparison and self-sacrifice. Supernatural with the real-world issues, reader just deeply involved to the story. Huge significant is taken to moral in sociality in this short story.  Through the interaction betw
